That really is all that it takes, folks, and more people need to know about that. Cats don't expect a lot from humans. So, if you show them kindness - even just one time - they will remember it. They will know that you are a safe space to go to for help if and when they will need it. And if you do feed a cute stray cat, this is something that you have to be aware of, because you have to be willing to face the consequences of your actions. This kitty needed help with her baby, and whether you meant to or not, you offered it, and now, it is your duty to do what needs to be done.

Oh well… life with a cat, right? Although in our household, it doesn't happen quite like this. Yes, leaving a piece of bread unattended will have consequences, but generally, our cats eat it, not sit on it. This is a new one for us. And somehow, it is much funnier than when our cats eat things behind our backs. We don't know what made this cat sit on this bread. Maybe it's comfier than we think. Either way, we are just glad this moment was documented in a picture.
